Nuts the prices of some nuts

While some categories of nuts and seed kernels have eased slightly in price over the past quarter, availability of Pine kernels and Pistachios has become chronic, with the inevitable impact on prices. All the usual theories abound as to why the shortage of product - poor crops, increased domestic consumption in China, the evil doings of the great nut goblin etc - but the bottom line is we are unlikely to see a significant improvement in prices until the latter part of the year.  That having been said, we currently have reasonable stocks of both Chinese Pine Kernels (1300 grade only) and Green, skinless Iranian Pistachios.
