...describes perfectly the way we do things here at Centaur Foods. We provide distributors and manufacturers with a wide a range of specialist ingredients all of which represent the optimum combination of quality and value – simple.
What we do:
- We recognize the need to innovate. Now more than ever, changing trends and fashions influence the way people cook and the food they eat. If sundried chicken beaks or pickled Cane Toads are going to be ‘the next big thing’ we want you to hear about it first from Centaur Foods.
- We make available to our customers a wealth of experience and product information. And, in Adrian’s case, an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of 80s’ Soul and R&B.
- We understand the fundamental requirement to provide products from which our customers can generate both sales and profit.
- We try constantly to improve the way we do things: ISO 9000/2 registered for the past six years, we operate a full HACCP policy. This year should also see us achieve BRC accreditation.
- We do actually possess an undimmed enthusiasm for food; eating food, cooking food and, of course, supplying food.
And Some things we don’t:
- We do not stock breaded products made to look like dinosaurs with the phrase ’mechanically recovered’ included amongst the list of ingredients.
- We do not do this for our health.
