Pastificio Riscossa dried pasta is made using only Durum flour and is one of Italy’s leading brands. Packed in 500g bags, the range includes all the most popular shapes. Also available from the same manufacturer is Potato Gnocchi. Versatile, easy to cook and ready to serve in a matter of minutes, Gnocchi makes an excellent and very cost effective alternative to pasta.  

Arborio Rice
‘Primoriso’ Arborio is a first class risotto rice on a par with any currently available. In terms of offering the optimum combination of quality and price there are few products to match it. 

‘Acquerello’ Carnaroli rice
This may well be the best risotto rice in the world! Organically produced, the rice is aged in chilled vats for a minimum of six months. During this time changes occur to the proteins and starches in the grains of rice resulting in an ingredient which absorbs more stock and retains texture far better than virtually any risotto rice. Available in attractive tins or silverfoil bags, both  packaging and price serve to emphasise the premium quality of Acquerello Carnaroli Rice.

Centaur Foods imports a wide selection of lentils, pulses and grains.  Most recently we have added to our range the terribly trendy Pearl or 'Israeli' Cous Cous, characterized by the spherical appearance of the individual grains. 

As with our dried fruit and nuts, all the products falling under this heading are packed in 1 Kg or bulk units intended exclusively for food service and manufacturing.
